B2B / B2C TASTING NOTES & LEAD CAPTURE APP FOR TREASURY WINE ESTATES
Delivered the architectural roadmap, UX/UI design and managed the development of Treasury Wine Estate’s wine (TWE) portfolio facing app
TWE approached Bionic to lead the design and build of a portfolio app for use at multiple trade shows and wine expos across the globe. The app would be available on stand on integrated iPads allowing users to review tasting and production notes, view video content and register their interest in any of TWE’s wines.
To ensure the client could update the app independently according to the show they were attending (the enormous folio of wines managed by TWE were often segregated to show/attendee type) the apps backend was created in WordPress ensuring a very straightforward, intuitive CMS for the admin team.
One potential blocker with the project was that many of the expos attended by TWE did not guarantee wifi. A mechanic was created to overcome the issue that would record attendees contact details locally to the device and uploaded and added into a secure database ensuring valuable leads were never at risk of being lost once a connection was made.
